The Astronomy Library, named in 1994 for Professor Michael D. Papagiannis
in recognition of his 30 years of service to Boston University, is located adjacent
to the Department of Astronomy on the 6th floor of 725 Commonwealth Avenue.

This branch library collection, a walk up from the 5th floor of the College of Arts
and Sciences (CAS) building, includes books in all areas of astronomy and astrophysics, nearly 50 current journals, and an excellent collection of sky atlases and maps.

These resources support programs of study in both astronomy and astrophysics
and are used equally by the Astronomy Department, the Center for Space Physics and the Institute for Astrophysical Research.
