Welcome! This page is addressed to the recipients of the BA, MA, and PhD from the philosophy department at Boston University.

Philosophy at BU is thriving. We teach approximately 3,000 students per year, and we currently have 203 undergraduate majors and 48 minors. 76 graduate students are enrolled in our MA and PhD programs. This year we had an unusually high number of applicants for seats in our graduate program. A total of 207 students applied for seats in the incoming Fall 2008 class; six doctoral students and six Masters students were accepted. We’re growing, and our ambitions are growing, too.
