Degree Programs
The School of Theology is a graduate professional
school offering an array of programs
at the master's and doctoral levels.
These programs lead to the following degrees:
- Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Theological Studies
(MTS)
- Master of Sacred Music (MSM), Master of Sacred Theology
(STM)
- Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), and Doctor of Theology (Th.D.)
Dual degree programs offered include the M.Div./MSW (Master
of Social Work), MTS/MSW, and M.Div./MSM.
Students may also choose a plan of study leading to ordination
as a United Methodist Deacon.
Those students wishing to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) or
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) religion should refer to the
Division
of Religious and Theological Studies of the Graduate School
of Arts and Sciences.
Online Certificate in Asian Religions
and Healing
Beginning in fall 2008, the School of Theology is proud
to re-instate an Online Certificate in Asian Religions and
Healing designed and taught by world-renoun asian religions
scholar Livia
Kohn. The four online courses in this certificate can
be taken as a stand alone non-degree program or integrated
within the STM or MTS degrees. They may also be taken
singly
as a
