Students have the opportunity to enroll directly at one of Europe’s top universities, the University of Copenhagen, for a semester or an academic year. This exchange program can be of interest to students in all undergraduate fields, especially political science, history, economics, international relations, psychology and sociology, among many others. With almost 33,000 students and more than 6,000 employees, the University of Copenhagen is the largest institution of research and education in Denmark. The purpose of the University—to quote the University Statute—is to “conduct research and provide further education to the highest academic level.” More information about the University of Copenhagen can be found at: www.ku.dk/english. Most of the courses offered at the University of Copenhagen are taught in Danish. However, each semester a number of courses are offered in English. These classes are primarily selected to be taught in English because of their relevance for foreign and Danish students in international programs. In addition, most of the courses in the English Department (Faculty of Humanities) are also taught in English Housing Admissions Requirements Program Dates Application Deadlines Admissions Calendar Program Cost Additional expenses to consider (Fall or Spring) The cost for 2010/2011 has not yet been announced and will be subject to approval by the Board of Trustees at Boston University.
