Application Deadline:

You will be notified of your status no later than January 19, 2010.

Admissions Calendar:

Review of applications will begin according to the following timetable.

Requirements:

Open to CGS students who have completed their first year. Admission to the Boston University College of General Studies London Summer Program is based on the following criteria:

• • Good academic standing
• • 3.0 overall grade point average
• • Minimum grade of B in HU101 for applicants to the Humanities Program
• • Personal essay
• • One letter of recommendation from a faculty member
• • A meeting with your CGS advisor
• • Demonstrable communication skills and maturity.

Program Fee

Summer 2009 Program Cost: $7,300

The following are included in the program fee:

• • Tuition
• • Housing
• • Field trips
• • Emergency travel assistance coverage

Travel:
The program arranges a trans-Atlantic group flight that is not included in the program fee. International Programs recommends that students take this flight.

Additional expenses to consider (London CGS Program in the Natural Sciences)

Financial Aid:
Scholarships and grants are available and students may be eligible for federal aid for summer programs.
