Application Deadlines:

Admissions Calendar:
Review of applications will begin according to the following timetable.
Admissions Requirements:
• All students must complete the full 8-credit program, enrolling in one academic course and one internship
Applicants should submit the following:
- • General Background Information Form (from the
Boston University International Programs Application) or “Personal Information” and “Program
Information” from the on-line application at www.bu.edu/abroad
- • Information Release Form (from the Boston University
International Programs Application) or Information Release from “Submission
Checklist” of the on-line application
- • A one-page essay describing why this experience
is right for you at this point in your training/career. Why
do you think your ''voice' as a writer is a good match for the kind
of film and television projects that are currently (or likely to
be) produced.
- • Two letters of recommendation from teachers or others who can comment
on your writing.
- • Two short (no more than about 2000 words each),
contrasting writing samples. Preferably, at least one of the
pieces should be in the form of a stage, film or television scene.
- • Transcript/proof of graduation
- • $50 non-refundable application fee

Program
Fee
The 2009/2010 program cost is $9,900 per
semester.
The following are included in the program fee:
• Tuition
• Housing
• Field trips
• Emergency travel assistance coverage
Additional expenses to consider
The cost for 2010/2011 has not yet been announced and will be subject to approval by the Board of Trustees at Boston University.

Boston
Staff
The Boston University LA Programs are administered
by staff in both our Boston and .A offices. In Boston, a program manager facilitates the admissions and orientation procedures, and
maintains contact with students prior to their arrival in LA The Boston
Office also houses administrative personnel who are responsible for everyday
operations. In LA, the staff comprises a resident director, administrative,
academic and housing personnel.
