Admissions

Application Deadlines:

Fall Semester: March 15
Spring Semester: Extended to October 31, 2009 (Originally October 15)

For Spring 2010, the application deadline has been extended to October 31, 2009.

Admissions Calendar:

Review of applications will begin according to the following timetable.

Requirements:
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (in major and overall)
• Open to undergraduate and graduate students
• All students must complete the full 16-credit program, enrolling in three academic courses and one internship course

Program Fee

2009/2010 Program Cost

$22,810 per semester (16 credits)

Note: The Acting in Hollywood and The Writer in Hollywood programs have a different cost structure.

The following are included in the program fee:
• Tuition
• Housing
• Field trips
• Emergency travel assistance coverage

Additional expenses to consider

The cost for 2010/2011 has not yet been announced and will be subject to approval by the Board of Trustees at Boston University.

Boston Staff

The Boston University LA Programs are administered by staff in both our Boston and L.A. offices. In Boston, a program manager manages the admissions and orientation procedures, and maintains contact with students prior to their arrival in LA The Boston Office also houses administrative personnel who are responsible for everyday operations. In LA, the staff comprises a resident director, administrative, academic and housing personnel.
