Program Location
The Boston University Washington Center, located in the citys northwest quadrant near the National Zoo, contains the administrative offices for the Washington programs, fully furnished apartments for student program participants, classroom facilities, a library, a computer lab, and a study lounge. Each room is equipped with high-speed Internet and cable television access at no additional charge. Apartments are normally three-bedroom suites, with each bedroom shared by two students, and include full kitchens and dining and living areas. The center also contains a newsroom featuring the latest digital technology for both print and broadcast. The center is situated near the majority of Washington, DC government agencies and bureaus, national and international cultural attractions, and national historical landmarks. The Woodley Park neighborhood is nestled between Cleveland Park, Massachusetts Heights, and Rock Creek Park and includes such urban attractions as restaurants and shops as well as abundant parkland and close proximity to downtown DC.
Students are housed in fully furnished apartments in the Washington Center.
