  Student Activities
What you do outside of class contributes as much to your college experience as what you do in the classroom. Volunteer to tutor children at a local school. Play on an intramural broomball team. Participate in the student government of your residence. Sing in one of the choirs. Join the French Cultural Society. At Boston University, it's all about choices. If you can't find one of our more than 400 groups offered through the Student Activities Office to meet your interest, then start your own student group.

The Student Activities Office (SAO) also hosts many events throughout the school year for the enjoyment of all students. Visit SAO's events page to learn about Beanpot, the Back Bay Ball, the World Fair, and other Boston University traditions. Read on to get an idea of the kinds of activities in which students can be involved.
