The Witch Poppet
by Donia Elizabeth Allen
You makke mee
With soot & stolen
Peaces of silke.
You are noe fool—
You wish
For some thing
Oulder than angel.
I am noe green
Witch, I know sweat
& strong water,
How to leave
Frayd edges
Under the bellys
Of strangers.
