In addition to coordinating Boston University's alumni relations and development efforts in the western region of the United States of America, Sophie also works with alumni and parents in Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia. Prior to coming to Boston University, Sophie was with the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
Sophie has spent time at Harvard, University of California at Berkeley, Colorado State University (MBA), the University of Missouri-Columbia (MED and ED.S.), L'Ecole Superieure des Arts Modernes in Paris, and Fu-Jen University (B.A. in French Literature) in Taipei, Taiwan.

Julia Kim joined Boston University’s Office of Alumni Relations in January of 2008 to work with all of the University’s international alumni. Prior to Alumni Relations, she was the marketing manager at CELOP, the University’s Center for English Language and Orientation Programs. Before CELOP, Julia spent six years working in high tech public relations. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Arts Administration from Boston University’s Metropolitan College.

Stacylee Kruuse is a native New Yorker who joined the University's Office of Development and Alumni Relations in 2001. She currently serves as the International Development Officer focusing on international advancement which includes international relations and communication. She is a graduate of Smith College and received her Master of Public Health in Health Law, Bioethics, and Human Rights from Boston University's School of Public Health.
