We encourage the use of our online application. Please be aware that you will need to pay the application fee with a credit card if applying online; if that is not possible, then please apply by mail.

To apply by mail, either download and print the relevant forms below or request a paper application form by e-mailing grartsci@bu.edu, providing your name, mailing address, and intended area of study.

When applying by mail your application fee of $70 must be paid in U.S. currency or check, international money order, or an international check in U.S. funds drawn on a bank in the United States. Credit card payment or Traveler's Checks cannot be accepted with a paper application. If you wish to pay by credit card then please complete the application online. This non-refundable fee cannot be waived or deferred. Applications will not be considered without the application fee.

For those submitting a paper application or for those who cannot apply online and must apply
using the paper application, both the School Copy and the Department Copy of the application
must be completed, signed and submitted. The Admissions Office cannot accept faxed or scanned copies of the paper application. -
