The Honors Program in the College of Arts and Sciences is designed to serve our most academically talented freshman and sophomore students--those students most likely to be candidates for departmental honors and distinction programs later on. Our purpose is to provide our students with the kind of curricular enrichment that will keep them challenged in their first two years of study. We aim to equip students early on with the skills and knowledge that they'll need in their concentrations and to provide our students with early contact with key faculty.
