 Sun Young Han
Sun Young is from Seoul, Korea. She is studying at CELOP this semester, but returning to Seoul in December, where she is a student at Sogang University in Seoul.
About her experience at CELOP she says,
My classmates and I at CELOP love the teachers and the program. Everyone helps us feel so relaxed. My teacher (Gregg Singer) prepares a lot. He encourages us to ask questions about anything we don´t know or understand. He explains very clearly, kindly and encourages us to speak.
My interest in business increased because of my experiences here at CELOP. After I took a business class in Korea, I thought I would never be interested in business again. The presentations we do every week also help us.
The facilities here at CELOP are also very good, and you can use all the resources of Boston University. Everything is very well-organized here.
CELOP is careful to put students into classes with people who are have a similar level of ability. This is a relief to me, because I don´t have to listen to things I already know.
About her experience in Boston she says,
It is very convenient to stay here in Boston. My friend studied at another ESL program in another city. She said if you don´t have a car, you cannot go anywhere. This is not true in Boston; you can go anywhere in the city using the T.
My first impression of Boston was very good, because when I arrived in September, I was amazed at how beautiful the city is. The leaves in autumn at the beginning of November are especially beautiful.
