Room/Dining plan: Based on costs for Boston University housing; living in a shared room (two or more people) in a dormitory-style residence. Depending on the availability of particular residences, some students may be assigned to other accommodations which could cost more. Students living in dormitory-style residences must have a dining plan. Several plans are offered; the above is based on
15-19 full meals each week. Less expensive dining plans are available. Students living in apartment-style residences are not required to have a dining plan.
ResNet fee: A nominal fee for Internet access is automatically charged to those assigned on-campus housing during the Fall and Spring semesters. If you will not be accessing the Internet from your dormitory, a waiver of this fee is available by contacting the Office of Student Accounts. This fee is not assessed in the summer.
Personal Expenses Estimate: Includes costs for books and supplies,
laundry, transportation, and other miscellaneous expenses. Please
keep in mind that these are only estimates anddepending
on your lifestyleyour actual expenses may be higher.
