University Residences (Dormitory) Descriptions
Below are some examples of dormitory-style residences at Boston University.
Small Dorms
South Campus Brownstones. The small, unique residences on Buswell, Carlton, and Beacon Streets, and Audubon Court on Park Drive are all within an easy ten-minute walk from the center of campus. These brownstones each accommodate from fourteen to sixty-four residents in single-, double-, triple-, and quadruple-occupancy rooms, and in suites.

Bay State Road Brownstones
The elegant and charming brownstones along Bay State Road provide attractive housing overlooking tree-lined Bay State Road or the Charles River. Twelve to eighty students are accommodated at each address, primarily in double or triple rooms, with an occasional single or quadruple. Most of these residences are coeducational.
*Summer CELOP students may be assigned to the Bay State Road brownstones, above. During the academic year, students may be assigned to any residence on campus.
Large Dorms

Myles Standish Hall 610 Beacon St.
Myles Standish Hall, formerly a fashionable Boston hotel, stands just on the northeast edge of Kenmore Square. The e-shape style of this brick building makes it unique among residences on campus.

The Towers 140 Bay State Rd.
The residence is located on beautiful, tree-lined Bay State Road, is coeducational by floor.

Warren Towers Complex 700 Commonwealth Avenue
(Fairfield, Marshall, and Shields Towers) Located mid-campus, the three towers have coeducational and single-sex floors.

West Campus Complex 273, 275, 277 Babcock Street
(Claflin, Sleeper, and Rich Halls) Claflin, Sleeper, and Rich Halls, are separate residences arranged in a semicircle overlooking Nickerson Field.
