Asking For Feedback

"A professor’s teaching style and delivery of course concepts can really make or break my overall experience of the class. Therefore, I really appreciate it when the professor asks for mid-semester feedback. A method that’s simple, but effective is asking for things he can “stop”, “start”, and “continue” doing. This format allows me to freely discuss my concerns regarding the class and allows the professor to directly address them and make changes for the remainder of the course. Furthermore, it allows the professor to provide more information and clarify any issues that may have been causing confusion and frustration for the class. The gesture shows the professor’s dedication to his students and their intellectual development. I highly respect any instructor that actively listens to his students and effectively addresses their concerns in a timely manner"
