Sundays

Community Eucharist - 9AM

Robinson Chapel

Br. Larry celebrates this service of Morning Prayer with Holy Communion. On the first Sunday of each month, when Eucharist is celebrated at the 11AM liturgy, this service will be a Taizé prayer service.

Small Group Meetings - 9:45AM

Thurman Room, Robinson Chapel

The Dean, the Chaplain and the Associates facilitate a variety of small groups in devotion, reflection and fellowship. We seek to deepen our faith through consideration of the Bible, current events, theology, spiritual practice, and the best of our traditions.

Interdenominational Protestant Worship - 11AM

Nave of Marsh Chapel

Our weekly service of ordered worship. An hour long poem of liturgy, music and homily.

Mondays

Community Dinner - 6PM

Marsh Room

Our heart for service compels us to provide meals for hungry students. The table is set and all we need is you to make our joy complete.

Tuesdays

Community Lunch - 12PM

Marsh Room

Drop by between classes for a sandwich, chips, cookies and drink. Can’t stay? Don’t worry! Take it with you.

Chaplain’s Study: on the origin of species - 5PM

In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin and the sesquicentennial of the publication of On the Origin of Species, we will be reading this great work of science and literature and considering the reaction of religion and theological implications.

Br. Larry will be hosting dinner at Warren Towers dining hall each week at 6PM following the Chaplain's Study. Join him for food and conversation ranging from the ridiculous to the sublime.

Thursdays

Chaplain’s Study: war and religion- 5PM

Thurman Room

It is impossible to deny, in our present context, that religion is and has been complicit in many of the violent conflicts of history and the present moment. We will consider some of the ways religions motivate people toward violence, the contemporary context and the particular ways it interacts with religion to foment war, and strategies religious people might employ toward bringing an end to violence.
