Kate Kahn has worked in the media sine 1984 as a television producer, news syndicator, corporate multi-media consultant and professor.

Kahn began her career as a news producer at WBIR-TV (CBS) in Knoxville, TN. From there she went to KARE-TV (NBC) in Minneapolis where she produced both newscasts and special events. In 1988 she came to Boston, working at WHDH-TV (NBC). There she produced newscasts, investigative reporting, documentaries, special projects, and “live” special events including the station’s Election coverage, Boston Marathon production, International “live” coverage, spot news events and many others. She also co-produced the stations coverage of The Tall Ships.

In 1997 Kahn, along with some partners, formed NewsProNet, a national television news syndication company. The company produces multiple monthly feeds for network affiliates across the country including most of the top 50 markets.

In addition Kahn also developed and manages an advocacy website.
