Students, who major in advertising, may receive academic credit for an advertising internship prior to the summer of and during their senior year. Students must have a 3.0 grade point average in the College of Communication and have completed CM 317, Introduction to Advertising and CM 331, Writing for Communication prior to enrolling in the internship course.
Students may choose to intern in an advertising agency, in the marketing department of a corporation, or in a media outlet outside of Boston during the summer or in the Boston market during the school year.
Internships are not mandatory, but are encouraged, as an internship will count as one of the five required courses in a student’s academic major.
