In your letter, please provide us with the following information:
- Your name and student identification number.
- The semester or semesters in which you received the late fee.
- The circumstances that you wish to be reviewed.
Suggestions for Avoiding Late Fees
- Register for classes at least 10 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester in order to receive a bill before the
payment deadline.
- If you do not receive a bill, it is your responsibility to provide the University with an accurate billing address
or request a statement or verbal estimate from our office in order to complete payment/settlement before the University deadline.
- If you experience difficulty with the postal service in your area, we urge you to allow ample time to mail in payment.
- If you are appealing a financial aid decision, you are still responsible for completing payment/settlement by the
deadline date.
- If you have a poor payment history, please be aware that it will be taken into account when the circumstances of
your late fee are reviewed.
