Payment Plans
TuitionPay Plan (Full-time Students) You may choose to budget all or part of your academic year charges in ten monthly payments with the TuitionPay Plan from Sallie Mae. Participants must complete an enrollment form and pay a nonrefundable $60 enrollment fee at the time of enrollment. For more information about the TuitionPay Plan or to enroll online, please visit http://www.TuitionPayEnroll.com/bu and click on "Enroll Now" or call (888) 844-4754 to speak with a TuitionPay consultant. If calling from outside the United States, please dial (508) 235-2800. Once you have enrolled in the TuitionPay Plan, one-half of your annual plan amount will appear as a "pending item" on your invoice and will be deducted from the semester balance due. (Pending items reflect anticipated amounts and are subject to change.) If you have recently established a TuitionPay plan and it is not reflected on your invoice, you may deduct one-half of your plan amount from the balance due on your semester invoice, and remit payment directly to Boston University for any remaining balance due. Deferred Payment Plans (Part-time Students) If you are certified as a part-time student, you have the option of settling your account by enrolling in one of two deferred payment plans. These payment plans are administered by Boston University and enrollment is available on-line. A Kerberos password is required to enroll in the Deferred Payment Plan. For enrollment in either plan, an initial payment and a completed on-line promissory note are due by the semester payment deadline listed below. This initial payment includes any prior balance, 25 percent of the current semester tuition, a $50 Deferred Payment Fee, as well as any additional semester fees. Enrollment in Option 2 requires that students complete authorization on-line for their credit card to be charged for the deferred amount. Enrollment is available on-line at www.bu.edu/studentlink. Click on "Money Matters", then "Student Account Inquiry", and select the "Deferred Payment" option. Enrollment in the deferred payment plan must be completed by the semester payment deadline in order to avoid a late payment fee. |
