Each semester, a panel of students and
faculty organizes a series of films that interpret and reinterpret
the Core texts. At each screening, dinner begins at 6 PM with
a faculty introduction that sets the
film into the context of the semester's Core readings; the movie
is started at 6:30 PM. Discussion after the film is encouraged.
Films may also provide the foundation for alternative essay assignments.
