maf Marianne Farkas, ScD, is co-principal investigator of the Research and Training Center and director of the World Health Organization's Collaborating Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation at the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Dr. Farkas has authored or co-authored more than 35 journal articles, 3 textbooks, 11 book chapters, and 6 multimedia training packages. She has received numerous awards for her contributions to the field, including the John Beard Award from the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (formerly IAPSRS).
