individual services in recovery

One-to-one services are offered to people who prefer individual attention to meet their recovery and rehabilitation needs. The services division places a strong emphasis on providing services that support and realize the healthy functioning and full potential of individuals who live with psychiatric disabilities.

  • Supported education services are available to people who wish to return to school to finish or begin any type of educational degree. GED services, tutoring, study skills, scheduling support, and learning strategies are available to help the person reach their academic goals.

  • Vocational services are available to the person who wishes to choose, get and keep employment. Career development counseling and internship development are offered to help build a meaningful career plan for people whose lives have been interrupted by a psychiatric illness.

  • Health promotion services are also offered to people whose health has been compromised by the experience of psychiatric disability. Illness education, health literacy and advocacy, and healthy lifestyle coaching including exercise, strength conditioning and nutritional counseling are all available to people who desire to regain their functional health.

Fees are assessed at $75 an hour for these individual services and a sliding scale is available.
