
Eligible degree programs include: Art History, Biology, Biomedical Laboratory and Clinical Science, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Economics, English, History, Interdisciplinary Studies, Management Studies (Business Administration, Information Systems), Mathematics, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, and Urban Affairs.

Contingent on the availability of funds at the time complete application is filed.
- Federal grants, loans, and Work-Study
- State grants and loans
- Boston University grants (must be enrolled more than 12 credits per semester)

Complete the Free Application for Federal student Aid (FAFSA) and notify the Office of Financial Assistance of your intended enrollment for each session of the academic year on the Metropolitan College Declaration of Intended Enrollment. Also, complete the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE to be considered for BU grant.

You must demonstrate financial need, be enrolled in the degree program, and meet particular aid program and enrollment level requirements which include, but are not limited to:
- Federal Pell Grant: at least 4 credits
- Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant: at least 6 credits
- Federal Perkins Loan: at least 6 credits
- Federal Stafford Loan: at least 6 credits
- State Grant: generally at least 12 credits
- Federal Work-Study: at least 6 credits
- BU Grant: more than 12 credits
- Bryan Willard Scholarship
- Community Scholar Academic Scholarship
