Scholarship recipients who do not wish to be considered for need-based
aid (including the Federal Direct Stafford Loan), do NOT need to
submit
renewal forms. Merit awards will be renewed automatically, for up
to three additional years of undergraduate study, provided that
the
student:
- satisfactorily completes 12 credits each semester
- maintains good disciplinary standing with the University
- fulfills all other renewal
requirements specified for the scholarship, including the
minumum grade point average
Students who do not qualify for renewal of their merit awards and need financial aid to continue their education at Boston University may apply for and receive need-based aid, if they meet all eligibility criteria. Students who think their merit awards may not be renewed and who need financial aid should apply for need-based aid by the specified deadline.
