Using the Prepaid Tuition Plan, students may prepay tuition, at the current tuition rate, for four to eight semesters. Payments for room, board, and fees may not be prepaid and are due at the beginning of each semester.
To be eligible, students must be enrolled full-time in a graduate or undergraduate degree program, and have at least two years of full-time study remaining.
The prepaid tuition amount may be financed with a MEFA Loan from the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority, or from private sources.
If a student drops to part-time status, or enrolls in a summer session, tuition will be billed separately at the current rate.
If the student leaves the University after prepaying, any unused prepaid amount is refunded within 60 days of receipt of a written request, unless a MEFA Loan was used. If a MEFA Loan was used to finance the prepaid amount, the unused prepaid amount is first applied to the outstanding balance of the loan.
The calculation of refund amounts for students leaving within any academic period will be based on the University’s published refund policy.
