Student Loans

Eligibility for student loans is determined through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The student is always the applicant/borrower, and annual maximum loan amounts apply.

The Federal Direct Stafford Loan and the Federal Perkins Loan are both sponsored by the federal government. They have very favorable terms, including low interest rates and generous deferment provisions.

The Massachusetts No Interest Loan is an interest-free loan sponsored by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that is awarded to Massachusetts residents with high calculated need.
