Center for Professional Education

The Boston University Corporate Education Center is known nationally for its many professional development seminars, vocational programs, and conferences in information technology and management development. These training services are offered through four program groups: Management Development Programs, Information Technology Programs, and Conference Programs. The Corporate Education Center also offers its high quality meeting, lecture, and computer classroom space to organizations throughout the region.

The Boston University Corporate Education Center is part of the Division of Extended Education. BUCEC is headquartered at an 80,000 square foot facility on a 220 acre campus in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, 30 miles north of Boston. The Tyngsboro Campus includes a 280-seat auditorium, tiered and traditional classroom space, 14 computer classrooms, a campus library, extensive computer resources and dining facilities.

In addition to BUCEC's non-credit programs, graduate degree programs are also offered at this site. Degree programs include Metropolitan College graduate programs in Computer Science and Management; the Master of Education in Human Resource Education offered by the School of Education; and the Master of Social Work offered by the School of Social Work.

Corporate Education Center programs are also offered at satellite facilities in Boston at 1010 Commonwealth Avenue (adjacent to the Charles River Campus), in Waltham at 1050 Winter Street, Suite 1400; and in Braintree at 25 Braintree Hill Park. Management development seminars are also offered in quality meeting space throughout the region; conferences are held at east and west coast conference facilities; and customized training programs are delivered on-site at corporations throughout the world.
