It is important that you understand how your long-term disability benefits are affected when you take a leave of absence.

In addition, if you participate in the Boston University Retirement Plan, you may be eligible for the Monthly Retirement Plan Waiver Benefit.

If you are receiving disability payments and die, your unmarried dependent children may be eligible to participate (or continue their participation) in the Tuition Remission Program.
