This workshop on Elder Resources will focus on how to manage the relationship with an elder who may be failing physically and/or mentally. We will address the emotional, financial and management needs of both the elderly person and the participants. It will also educate and prepare those who may be facing future challenges with an aging relative.

  o Financial needs
  o Social programs
  o Physical assistance
  o Emotional support
• Sources of support for caretakers
• Description of the physical and emotional processes of aging
• Common emotional experiences for the caregiver
