LE15: Crossing the Borders of Creativity
Date and Time: Wednesday, March 19, 2008 12 noon - 1:30 p.m.
Presenters: Hugh O'Donnell, Professor of Art, College of Fine Arts
Location: CFA School of Visual Arts, 855 Commonwealth Avenue, Room 500

This multimedia presentation will show artwork from Professor O'Donnell's work with many disciplines across the University, including Medicine, Theology, Telecommunications, and Genetic Engineering, crossing the boundaries between the Humanities and the General Sciences. The workshop will focus on examples from Professor O'Donnell's "site specific art" class, meaning works of art that are created to exist in a certain place. These examples will show the surprising diversity of students across BU who have collaborated on making unique works of art that are inspired, promoted and sponsored by centers of learning and research on campus and beyond. Feel free to bring your lunch to this midday workshop.
