Advanced Courses

CM 523 Designing Interactive Communication
(1 section) Tuesday 6 - 9 PM Prof. Sweeney in 206
Students learn to create and create interactive multimedia works for publication on CD-ROM or the Web, using Macromedia Director, Shockwave, and other tools. It requires successful completion of CM 414 or CM 716.

CM 524 Multimedia Development Lab
(1 section) Tuesday 9:00 - Noon Prof. Lengel in 206
Students in this course work in teams to develop multimedia products for clients in the real world. It requires successful completion of CM 414, CM 716, CM 523, JO 502, or CM 719. Preference to students who have taken two or three of these courses.

CM 719 Interactive Marketing Communication

This courses focuses on principles and practices of marketing communication on the internet. It requires successful completion of CM 414/716 or JO 540.
