Edward C. Stone Moot Court Competition 2008

The Edward C. Stone Moot Court Competition is open to all second-year students. Students work in teams of two on one of three moot court problems. The 16 Stone participants with the highest combined brief and oral argument scores are invited to participate in the second semester Homer Albers Prize Moot Court Competition. The Stone Moot Court Directors hold an informational meeting for all interested participants in early September. The Stone Competition runs from late September through mid-November.

Informational Meeting

Please join us on Monday, September 15, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., for an informational meeting to discuss the Stone Moot Court Program in the Stone Courtroom on the 6th floor of the Law Tower. Participation in Stone Moot Court is a prerequisite for participation in all of the Law School's upper-class moot court programs, including the Albers Moot Court competition in the spring, moot court boards of directors, and intermural moot court teams. At the meeting, we will distribute the Stone Moot Court registration forms and rules, explain how the program works, and answer any questions that you might have. If you are interested in participating in Stone Moot Court, we urge you to attend the meeting. Registration forms must be completed and turned in to the Stone Moot Court Office (Room 652) or emailed to stonemc@bu.edu no later than Friday, September 19 at 5:00p.m.
