Computer Services: Lexis & Westlaw Printing for Research Assistants
Lexis Stand-alone Printer * Lexis Attached Printer * Westlaw Printer Setup
To print to the Lexis STAND-ALONE printer (use always at BULaw):
- Click on the Print link.
- From the Printer drop-down menu, select 700465 FACULTY RM 352.
- Click on the Print button to send the job.
To print to the Lexis ATTACHED printer:
Browser printing:
- Click on the Text-Only link.
- then click on your browser's printer button
or click on File > Print to send the job.
Formatted text:
- Click on the Print link and select one of the Attached Printer formats from the Printer drop-down menu.
- Click on the Print button to send the job.
- A new window will open, with the option to open or download the file. Select the option to open the file.
- Click on your browser's printer button
or click on File > Print to print to your attached printer.
Westlaw Setup * Stand-alone * Attached
To set the Westlaw third floor printer as your default printer:
- In the upper right-hand corner of the screen, select the white Preferences link
- In the left frame, select Print & Download
- In the main frame, under Printer, make sure you have Westlaw Printerselected as your default printer
- Still in the main frame, under Westlaw Printer, make sure that S2130 3RD FL COPY CTR/FACULTY ONLY is selected
- Click on the Save Changes button.
To print to the Westlaw STAND-ALONE printer (use always at BULaw):
- Click on the Print icon at the upper right of the screen.
- From the Printer drop-down menu, choose S2130 3RD FL COPY CTR/FACULTY ONLY(if you've already chosen this printer as your default printer, it should already be selected)
- Change Settings if necessary
- Click on the Print button to send the print job.
To print to the Westlaw ATTACHED printer:
- Click on the Print icon at the upper right of the screen.
- From the Printer drop-down menu, choose Attached Printer.
- Change Settings if necessary.
- Click on the Print button to send the print job.
