Provides local area economic data for states, counties, and
metropolitan areas for 1969-2005. Statistics in the database
include personal income and earning variables, full and part
employment variables, transfer payment variables and farm
income and expenses variables.
Massachusetts Institute
for Social and Economic Research (MISER)

An interdisciplinary research institute of the College of
Social and Behavioral Sciences at University of Massachusetts
Amherst. MISER houses the State Data Center as well as the
Business and Industry Data Center. Both are programs started
by the U.S. Census designed to "meet the growing need by decision
makers for effective use of economic statistics."

NEEI is a monthly publication of
the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
It provides current and historical economic data for the six
states in the first Federal Reserve District (Connecticut,
Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont),
large metropolitan areas in the region, New England as a whole,
and the United States. Available in PDF format from 2003 to the present. Each issue includes
the latest figures for employment, hours and earnings, consumer
prices, consumer confidence, construction contracts, housing
permits, home sales, new business incorporations, merchandise
exports, electricity sales, and state tax collections.

The Conference Board's research online collection consists of full-text
research reports on the latest issues in business managment
and on U.S. and global economics. Research covers business

Full-text coverage is from 1998 to date. Economics material
includes U.S. and global economic indicators and analysis
and forecasts of regional, national, and international economic
conditions.
