Ethnic NewsWatch
ETHNIC NEWSWATCH is a full-text database of the newspapers, magazines, and journals of the ethnic, minority, and native press. The database contains more than 1.1 million articles from more than 260 publications. Searchable in both English and Spanish, it includes more than 237,000 articles in Spanish. Coverage is from 1990 to the present.

A database that indexes and abstracts articles from English-language periodicals published in the United States and Great Britain, plus the full text of selected periodicals. Periodical coverage includes popular science magazines as well as professional journals. General Science Full Text also covers The New York Times Science Section (published weekly on Tuesday). Indexing begins with May 1984. Abstracting coverage begins with periodicals published in March 1993. Full text coverage begins in January 1995.

MEDLINE encompasses information from Index Medicus, Index to Dental Literature, and International Nursing, as well as other sources of coverage in the areas of allied health, biological and physical sciences, humanities and information science as they relate to medicine and health care, communication disorders, population biology, and reproductive biology.

The Ovid MEDLINE database contains bibliographic citations and author abstracts from more than 4,600 biomedical journals published in the United States and in 70 other countries. The database contains over 13 million citations dating back to the mid-1960's, including more than 130,000 population-related journal citations (unique to the former POPLINE� database) that were added to MEDLINE in October of 2002. Although coverage is worldwide, most records are derived from English-language sources or have English abstracts. Abstracts are included for more than 75% of the records.
