Finding Articles
To locate articles in business publications and newspapers, use "Find Business Articles and Data". Select the subject of your search (i.e., Management/OB/HR/Nonprofit), the type of information (i.e., Journals & Magazine articles) and then select "Find Suggested Databases." Databases below are among those listed.
Business Source Complete [About]
In the search box enter terms such as "organizational behavior," "human capital," "employee motivation," and "corporate culture." Additional subject headings can be found by using the Thesaurus. Search terms can also be combined in order to narrow the search results. To search for articles on a company and its human resources practices, enter a company name and a keyword or subject term.
ABI/INFORM Global [About]
In basic or advanced search modes, enter terms such as: "employment," "recruiting," "organizational behavior," and "human resources." You can narrow the search by doing a combined search, entering two search terms, such as "human resources" and "benefits". Additional terms can be found by using the "Browse Topics" function; this is located at the upper right, next to the "Tools" section. To search for articles on a company and its human resources practices, enter a company name and a keyword or subject term.

A bibliographic database that provides access to the world's literature in theoretical and applied sociology and related fields. It contains abstracts of journal articles from Sociological Abstracts since 1974, Social Planning, Policy & Development Abstracts (SOPODA) since 1979, and citations to relevant dissertations since 1986.

the corporate culture at a variety of companies. Select Companies from the main screen. If
you do not have a password from the Career Center,
come to the Pardee Library reference desk.

To locate articles on companies, use "Find Business Articles and Data". Select "Companies" as a business topic and then the type of data. To use Factiva (Works best with Firefox), type the company name into Factiva search box.
