Who can borrow? Should I make arrangements before visiting?

Current Boston University students, faculty, staff and alumni are entitled to borrow. We recommend you establish a PIN (in person at Mugar circulation) in order to later manage your renewals online. DE students, let us know when you will be on campus.

Holders of the Boston Library Consortium card acquired from their participating home library may borrow regularly circulating items only from the BU libraries.

Visiting scholars, performers, and members of the community are welcome. No advance arrangements are required but they might be advisable in order to expedite your work.

For items residing in the  Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center (HGARC),  contact archives staff directly to determine any necessary arrangements.
