  • Ethnic News Watch is a comprehensive full-text database of the newspapers, magazines, and journals of the ethnic, minority, and native press. Growing continuously since 1991, and with archival material dating back to 1985, Ethnic NewsWatch is a collection of more than 500,000 articles from 200 publications. Searchable in both English and Spanish, it includes more than 125,000 articles in Spanish. (BU-px)
  • New York Review of Books. This site offers a searchable index of the magazine's entire contents from 1963 to the present. Some full text articles are available free of charge to non-subscribers.
  • The New York Times has posted an online index of its contents from 1981 to date.

  • SmallTownPapers. A growing full text digital archive of approximately 40 small town newspapers throughout the United States.
  • Town Online is a news database from Community Newspapers Inc., publisher of over 100 local newspapers in cities and towns in eastern Massachusetts.
  • TVQ Television Database Query. A database provided by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) giving license information for all television stations in the United States. Searchable by region, broadcast radius, call letters etc. This site will retrieve ownership information, license renewal information, call letter history, legal actions taken and a variety of technical data related to broadcast authorization.
  • is the searchable online counterpart to the Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS) translations into English of media broadcasts from around the world. WNC gathers together all of the regional components that are separately indexed in the Microfiche versions held by Mugar. Some omissions occur in WNC due to copyright restrictions that do not apply to the microfiche set.
