Houses a research collection of over 175,000 books, periodicals, scores, videos, and recordings of both music and spoken word.

Much of the collection is listed in the online catalog. A separate catalog in the Music Library provides information about the full collection.

In addition to providing Music-specific Reference Service, staff offer general orientation and tour sessions.

On-site use of the Music Library's collections is available to all members of the Boston University community as well as to all visiting scholars and performers.
