Initial Referral Process

The MDRC conducts research studies with individuals with normal memory function. You may be able to participate in our studies if you are:

• between the ages of 45 and 75
• a native English speaker
• free of neurological disorders
• have at least 7 years of formal education

Participation in Ongoing Research Studies

After an initial assessment, you may be invited to participate in ongoing research projects. By contributing your time and energy as a research participant, you enable us to learn more about how memory operates and the factors that contribute to its failure. A typical research study involves viewing words or pictures and answering some questions about them. You will be compensated for your participation in our research. Confidentiality is maintained at all times.
