  1. How do I get a parking permit for the evening?

White evening parking permits are available for free for all part and full time MET faculty members. The white permit allows you to park after 4pm in any lot except Lots A, C-2, L, and R. For a map of campus parking lots, please visit this campus map.

You will need to request a parking permit application from the MET Office of the Dean (Room 103), fill it out complete with your car information and BU ID number, and return it to the Dean's Office. One of the Staff Coordinators needs to sign the application for you, certifying that you are a faculty member for Metropolitan College.

At this time it is easiest to take the application directly to Parking Services, located on the second floor of the George Sherman Student Union (775 Commonwealth Ave.) Parking Services is open 9am-5pm. If you cannot come to campus during these times, arrangements can be made to pick up the permit and have it mailed to your home or office.

  2. And what if I want to park during the day?

If you need to come to campus and park during the day, but don't come everyday, there is some available street parking, as well as several parking lots available that allow a driver to pay for parking upon entry. To use these lots to pay upon entry, please contact the Parking Services office to apply for a Red parking permit. Lot prices range from $8-40 per day, depending on the lot. The Green parking permit is for daily use and has a monthly fee attached to it. For more information, please contact Parking Services.
