Undergraduate Application Process

Am I eligible to apply to an undergraduate degree program?

How do I apply?
In order to apply, it's recommended that you first contact an academic counselor in the Office of Undergraduate Students Services or attend an Information Session—please call 617-353-2980 to schedule your appointment, or 617-353-6000 to reserve a seat at an Information Session. Your academic counselor will assist you in identifying what materials will be required for your application and will evaluate your eligibility for application.

After consulting with your academic counselor, you may:

Apply online – Complete our online application to apply today.

Apply by mail – Download the application form or call 617-353-6000 to request a copy. Mail your completed application to:
          Undergraduate Student Services
          755 Commonwealth Avenue, Room 102
          Boston, MA 02215

A complete application for admission must include:

1. A completed Application for Undergraduate Admission
2. Official transcripts from high school or GED
3. Official transcript(s) from each college attended
4. A completed Personal Statement
5. A nonrefundable $75 application fee. (Please make check payable to Boston University.)

We encourage prospective students to either attend an Information Session and/or have an individual meeting with an academic counselor.
