A Step-by-Step Guide to Registration

1. Choose your courses
The Boston University Course Schedule lists which courses are available for the current or upcoming semester.

You can also request a printed Metropolitan Schedule for the current semester by calling 617-353-3000.

Please note that some courses require Stamped Approval. To obtain Stamped Approval, please contact the Metropolitan College Administrative Office at 617-353-3000 for instructions.

2. Register for your courses
The best way for current students to register is on the Web using Student Link. To access Student Link, you need a BU e-mail address and Kerberos password.

You may also submit a course registration form. You can download the form; pick one up at 755 Commonwealth Avenue, Room 103; or request a form by calling 617-353-3000.

If you prefer to fill out a registration form, mail, fax, or deliver to:

Note: If you wish to register for a course that is already full, you must obtain the instructor’s permission and signature on the Class Adjustment Form.

3. Confirm Your Schedule
All registered students should obtain confirmation of their schedule online using Student Link.

Note: Returning students will not receive confirmation of registration in the mail.

4. Settle Your Account
You can view your student account on Student Link.

If you have not received an invoice for the Fall 2009 semester by September 16, 2009, or are completing registration after this date, you may contact Student Accounting Services at 617-353-2264 to request one.

Note: Payment is due by the payment deadline without regard to receipt of an invoice. Please see Important Dates for current deadlines.
