The School of Education provides comprehensive teacher preparation to students interested in educating children, adolescents, and adults alike. Undergraduates earning the Bachelor of Science degree begin with a solid liberal arts foundation, eventually specializing in a professional field like early childhood education, elementary education, bilingual education, or physical education. Graduate programs offer specialized work in more than 20 areas of education—preschool; higher education; special needs; policy, planning, and administration in schools; and in the corporate sector—through the Master of Education degree, the Master of Arts in Teaching degree, the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study, and the Doctor of Education degree.
