Calls for Entry and submissions

In addition to regular calls for entry, the PRC invites submissions from artists and educators to be considered for possible exhibitions and educational programs. It is the PRC's goal to discover, encourage, and promote emerging talent and showcase a variety of work. Current calls for entries are listed below as well as in major photography and arts publications/ online listings.

EXPOSURE: The 15th Annual PRC Juried Exhibition

Each year, the PRC is pleased to host a juried exhibition with a nationally-renowned juror. Begun in 1996, the PRC Juried Exhibition highlights midcareer artists and "ones to watch."


In celebration the 25th anniversary of the PRC gallery, the PRC is pleased to present a special edition of the PRC's 15th annual juried exhibition. The 2010 juror is Mia Fineman, Senior Research Associate, Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. The entry deadline has been EXTENDED to November 30, 2009.
Selected artists will be called and/or emailed in February and posted online here soon thereafter.

As a reminder, we offer regular review opportunities with outside reviewers as well as an annual juried exhibition with a different guest juror each year. Educational programs range from lectures, to seminars, to booksignings, to short workshops. We generally do not review email or website solicitations.

Please include:
10-20 jpgs on CD with index sheet are preferred; video work as a DVD (pc formated)
current resume or vita
statement explaining your specific project, supporting material, and a checklist (including media, print size, year, and description of final presentation/framing method)
self-addressed stamped with adequate postage envelope for return

As a small staff, expect us to have unsolicited material for up to a year. Please do not send original slides or prints and note that the PRC assumes no responsibility for lost, damaged, or missing materials. Please address all proposals to the appropriate person at the below address.
