Gloria Waters, Ph.D, Professor and Dean Careers in the healthcare field are among the fastest growing professions in the world.

Whether you are interested in pursuing a career in research or clinical practice, Boston University College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College offers both undergraduate and graduate programs that will prepare you for a wealth of possibilities including medicine, public health, athletic training, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language pathology. Students can pursue baccalaureate, masters and doctoral degrees in our four academic departments including Health Sciences; Occupational Therapy; Physical Therapy and Athletic Training; or Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences.

As reported by US News and World Report, all of our professional graduate programs which are ranked, are ranked within the top 15% in the country.

With more than $8 million of outside funding in our research laboratories, students have the opportunity to collaborate on cutting-edge programs at the Sargent College Clinical Centers, the Center for Neurorehabilitation, the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation, and the Hearing Research Center. And, for students interested in clinical careers, we have a network of more than 1400 clinical affiliations throughout world, with over 400 of them in the Boston area.
