Doctor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences
The interdisciplinary ScD program in Rehabilitation Sciences is seeking outstanding applicants interested in deepening and broadening their knowledge to prepare students for research and teaching careers in a number of areas of specialization in the rehabilitation sciences domain.
The program welcomes applicants with or without a clinical professional degree and prepares graduates for research and teaching careers in the rehabilitation sciences domain. While developing expertise through specialized study and collaboration with their individual mentors, students network across specializations
and across cohort years through joint doctoral seminars and core curriculum coursework. The core courses provide grounding in critical thinking, research training and academic instruction. Currently there are two specializations with a broadly defined focus: Health, Adaptation and Disability, and Movement Sciences.
These specializations provide a cohesive structured curriculum, with each student developing his or her own individualized program of study.
